Yes!! As you can see in the banner above, we are looking for first years to join us!
At SIGHT Camp you will confront real health-related problems presented by NGOs or government partners. You will be empowered with mindsets and skills to innovate health technologies in low-resource settings. The selection of potential Campers is based mostly on students’ commitment to SIGHT and skill sets relevant to the projects, rather than academic performance. While we have a technical focus at SIGHT, we look beyond for skills that can bring sustainability and a human touch to our projects.
Please fill in this Application Form if you're game! We will be in touch shortly for an interview at HKUST. Deadline is 28/8/2017, 8:00.
P.S. We love math students at SIGHT, but if you spot something wrong by how we've defined X, please do not write to us to complain by sending us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org titled "I am good at math and you did something wrong", c'mon, why would you do that...
is a 1-semester long non-credit bearing program, where SIGHT Campers are exposed to a myriad of global health issues via engaging with NGOs. Campers will follow-up on issues they find interest in, and from them develop solutions to solve these issues. The Camp is an accelerator of these ideas, providing workshops on design thinking, prototyping, product development, etc. The best ideas will stay and become fully-fledged SIGHT Projects in the Spring Semester.
